Whereas TAWESO and SAWHO decides to invest much energy in improving education sectors by initiating a huge project in Mwanza Region, starting with Misungwi District Council as first forum but it intends to reach the whole Mwanza Region, which is called Education Transformation Program established to bring revolution and improving education services.
And one among of the challenges facing Misungwi District Council is poor and wrecked vehicle which hinders physical supervision on the progress of the education services within Misungwi district and henceforth, it enhance poor supervision and thus poor education services. Thereof Education Transformation Program aims / focus at empowering mentioned Council by repairing the said vehicles; this is to enables District officers to monitor education sectors in order to be acquainted with challenges facing them especially in remoteness areas. By doing this those challenges will be handled within time and at a required quantity and quality, thus it will facilitate satisfactory and good education services. TAWESO and SAWHO as non-governmental organizations committed to cooperate with stakeholders to archive the targets of the program whereby the door is open to local and external donors for fundraising like.
Education Transformation Program is pioneered by Patrick Tungu who is Executive Director of TAWESO and Dr. Donald Kasongi,Executive Director of Governance Link Tanzania and it is supported by several stakeholders in catchment area such as Hon John Mongela (Mwanza Regional Commissioner), Michael Ligola (Mwanza Regional Education Officers), Hon Juma Sweda (Misungwi District Commissioner), Eliud L Mwaiteleke (Misungwi District Executive Director), Dayana B Kuboja (Misungwi District Education Officer) and it is sponsored by International Organization like SAWHO under Grace Lembe Lendsey who is CEO and Susan Bachar and Zach Swett of Africa School Assistance Project under.
